Rooms are quite big and beds were comfortable. Bathroom smelled like old feet. The windows block out the street so it is very quiet. Good English Breakfast in the morning. Nice staff at reception.
A really great place to relax before the start of the West Highland Way. Bed was super comfy, no noise, able to adjust the heating, food really good. Staff amazing. Perfect
Our room was immaculate. The beds as always were comfy. My partner and I started walking the West Highland Way from here and the staff were happy for us to leave our car in their car park, with a small charity donation, whilst doing this.
This is exactly what you need for the start of the WHW. I’m a bit of a hotel snob, but this really delivered. It’s a great location for the start of the hike. The room is clean and quiet and the service is very friendly. Monday morning the 21st. They only had one person working breakfast, but she was so helpful and really took care of everyone and it was packed. Didn’t catch her name , but she deserves a raise
Only here because my friend lives in Milngavie, and en route north to Scottish highlands. But this hotel delivered for its price point. Spacious room, comfortable, clean, large bed with decent sheets, nice large tv. Front desk staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. That the hotel is very close to the West Highland start point; I didn’t know about this walk but it made for a good trail run!

Stayed one night at the start of our trip. Were very accommodating to our requests, reasonable prices, comfortable beds and clean rooms. We didn't use the restaurant so we can't comment on it.
Staff were amazing and friendly, rooms was clean and well made up, and ideally located to start the West Highland Way. Definitely recommend this hotel as a cost-effective option
